Aizone is, without any doubts, the most
ambitious and desecrating retail project
for our studio, because it is the brand of
the Aishti group dedicated to a young and
refined target, very careful and in continuous
evolution.
Aizone is the gym where it is possible to
experiment new solutions and new materials;
it allows to come out from the most artificial
schemes of the conventional spaces generally
stiffer.
We started in 2002 with the first terminal
inside the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, a
huge rectangle long as a soccer field.
In terms of design, the choice of a
monochrome wrap that transforms the
container in a conceptual space with no limits.
The powder blue chosen as a shade of Klein
blue, creates an effect of vagueness of the
real borders, enhanced by the effect of back
lighted counterparts and by mirror surfaces
that replicate the graphic effect endlessly.
